Allpress x HARIO V60 Championship Returns with a Trans-Tasman Showdown
Building on the success of last year’s sold-out New Zealand event, Allpress Espresso and HARIO are proud to present the 2025 V60 Championship — a trans-Tasman celebration of pour-over brewing mastery.
This year, the competition expands to include regional heats in iconic venues across Christchurch, Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, culminating in an ANZ Final in Melbourne. The ultimate prize? A flight to Tokyo, where the champion will represent our region at the HARIO V60 Brewers Cup against finalists from around the world.
Competitors will brew using a micro-lot coffee hand-selected and roasted by the Allpress coffee team — the specific origin will remain a closely guarded secret until the final. With a single coffee in play, it’s a pure test of precision, creativity, and technique.
Alongside the glory, winners will receive prizes from leading partners, including HARIO, Acme Ceramics, C4 Roasters, Cafe Imports, Otis Oat Milk, Oatly, Coffee Works Express, and Third Wave Water.
